Hello This is Dj Alx, I'm originally from South America, I grew up in one of the biggest Salsa music capitals in the world. I was born in Cali, Colombia where I spent most of my youth years and Djing as a hobby when I was a teen ager. My dad was a musician and I learned a lot from him. I worked with my dad carrying and setting up stages for his concerts, later on I became a club DJ for few night clubs in the city starting Thursdays nights up to Sunday evenings mixing old House music. I do have different activities so time is always not enough. I am a certified flight instructor, a Commercial Pilot, and a boater by heart but more important I am a DAD of a toddler. I do enjoy outdoors activities such hiking, camping, boating (of course) archery, kayaking, skurfing, airsoft, etc. I decided to come back to djing because I really enjoy making memories in others thru music.

 

AlxUS Dj first spun their way onto the San Francisco music scene in 2000. In that time, they’ve established a reputation as one of the most innovative DJs of their generation. From sampling unconventional music genres to creating new soundscapes with their brilliantly mixed tracks, AlxUS Dj has come a long way since their very first mixing session.
